BARCELONA, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Leading Chinese high-tech company iFLYTEK has signed with RCD Espanyol as its new official partner here on Monday and Espanyol forward Wu Lei becomes the first spokesman of the iFLYTEK Translator.

The Chinese player described it as "a great honor" in his remarks at the signing ceremony. He also noted that he had used the translator on different occasions, and that it had helped him a great deal as he lives and travels in Spain.

He added that, with the aid of the iFLYTEK Translator, an increasing number of Chinese players would be able to go further in the international arena.

According to an iFLYTEK press conference, the first set of its Translators 3.0 Lite have been received by RCD Espanyol and will shortly be put into use in the training and communication of international players.
