MUMBAI, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Wednesday.

Shares started on a good note, with the Sensex rising over 100 point. All sectoral indices are trading in the green, with sharp gains seen in pharmaceuticals, IT and PSU banking space.

The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex opened at 35,836.74, 144.22 point or 0.40 percent up compared to its previous close at 35,692.52. Enditem
