BEIJING, March 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Costa Rica at 2025 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 52.3 km, was initially determined to be at 8.47 degrees north latitude and 83.12 degrees west longitude. ■
